This was a very interesting and special National Park. First of all, you could see the Sand Dunes for miles before even entering the park. It was very fun to be able to walk anywhere around the dun… Full review by Carol and Ray L

Definitely go early and/or take something to put on your dog’s feet. We arrived at 10am and by 11am the sand was burning our feet when with sandals on. Many people were wearing socks only and that seemed to be a great way (for humans) to enjoy the sand dunes without worrying about shoes filling up with sand.
