I believe there is camping nearby. This is a wonderful place to visit if you are travelling.

About 2 hours sounds right. The museum is nice. There's a fort too. As well as a walkway across the bridge with sculptures and exhibits.

Hi Michelle, It's really a matter of personal preference. Having raised three kids, my advice would be to show them pictures of each or let them research online and let them choose, that way they have made the choice and the enjoyment factor is in their court. I personally enjoyed the archway more, easy to access, more interesting exhibits. The trains were a little more removed. You are viewing the great scope of the train yards but at a distance. Also, a little more off the beaten path.
